Youth Teams Supplemental Tryout Rescheduled

The Supplemental Tryout that was originally scheduled for Saturday October 3 has been rescheduled to Friday, October 9.

The schedule for October 9 is as follows:

– 8:00pm-9:00pm – 4th, 5th & 6th graders (Class of 2024, 2023 & 2022)
– 9:00pm-10:00pm – 7th & 8th graders (Class of 2021 & 2020)
Registration and Fee: $30.00 per player (non-refundable). Interested players should register online for the October 3 tryout at: http://njriot.sportssignup.com/site

TIME CHANGE for 9/1/15 2019 & 2020 CALLBACK TRYOUTS

THERE IS A CHANGE IN TIME FOR TOMORROW’S (9/1) CALL BACK.
 
Please note that the callback tryouts will be held as follows:
– Class of 2020 (8th grade): 5:00pm-6:30pm
– Class of 2019 (9th grade): 6:30pm-8:00pm
 
NOTE: Please remember that the location for both of these tryouts is the FDU Upper Field Hockey Grass Field. This field is located just past the outfield of the FDU baseball field. Parking for this field is located just inside the wall bordering Madison Avenue.

NJ Riot Lacrosse Announces Summer ’16 Tryout Dates

Here are the NJ Riot Summer 2016 tryout dates:
SUNDAY AUGUST 30TH
11:30-1:00 PM- (4TH/5TH) – Class of 2024/2023
1:30-3:00 PM (6TH) – Class of 2022
3:30-5:00 PM (7TH) – Class of 2021
5:30-7:00 PM (8TH) – Class of 2020
7:30-9.30 PM (9TH) – Class of 2019
MONDAY AUGUST 31ST– CALLBACKS
5:30-7:00 PM – Class of 2024/2023
7:00-8:30 PM – Class of 2022
8.30-10:00 PM – Class of 2021
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 1ST– CALLBACKS
5:30-7:00 PM – Class of 2020
7:00-9:00 PM – Class of 2019
The Registration link will open in next few days.  A subsequent e-mail will be sent announcing that registration is open.

All NJ RIOT tryouts will be held at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.

Players selected for next summer 2016 teams will be eligible to play with NJ Riot this fall as well (not mandatory).

NJ Riot Lacrosse dedicates Summer 2015 Season to Kyle Kirst

On Tuesday June 16, 2015, we lost one of the greatest human beings in and out of Lacrosse.
Kyle Kirst, 47 and father of 5 sons, passed away of an apparent heart attack. His resume is vast as a coach, teacher and mentor. A former Rutgers lacrosse player, many know him as the very well-regarded defensive coach of the Summit HS lacrosse team. He has also presided over numerous clinics and camps that many of our sons have attended in the past.

Coach Kirst was a big man with a HUGE smile and gave his time to any player that would ask. If you Google him, you will see what I am talking about and why he is getting these props all over NJ.
